Inside Vantara Heritage: What You Get Once You Pass the Gate

A brochure list of amenities tells you very little. Here is how the pieces of Vantara Heritage fit into an ordinary day.

The entrance and security

Everything starts at the gate. The township is fully gated with a modern entrance, round-the-clock guards and a two-tier CCTV system, which simply means the gate and the interior are watched separately. For anyone who plans to leave a house empty during the week and come only on weekends, this matters more than the clubhouse does.

Roads you can actually park on

Internal roads are wide, going up to 40 feet on the main stretches. That is enough for two cars to pass with a parked vehicle on the side, which is where many older plotted colonies fall apart. Wiring is laid underground, so you won’t see tangled overhead cables once houses come up.

The clubhouse and pool

The clubhouse is planned on about an acre and is the social centre: a swimming pool, a gym, a yoga and meditation hall, badminton and tennis courts, and a banquet hall for 150 to 200 guests. Think birthday parties, society meetings and the occasional Sunday swim rather than five-star hotel service. If you have children who will outgrow screens, the pool alone gets used more than people expect.

Green space for every age

There are landscaped parks, a jogging track, a kids’ play area and a corner set aside for yoga and meditation. Early mornings here belong to walkers; evenings belong to children and grandparents. A musical fountain and a lake-view area add some scenery.

Everyday convenience

The plan also includes retail shops and a food court inside the township, so small errands do not mean driving to town. Garh town is about a kilometre away for anything larger.

Farm and nature touches

A stretch of organic farmland is part of the layout. Whether you grow anything or not, it keeps density down and gives the township a different feel from a standard plot colony.
